I'm pleased to present, part 2, wherein I show images of the space needle.

Originally I thought the Needle was lit green for St. Patrick's Day. Turns out it was lit green *and blue* for the Sounders, who are, apparently, Seattle's soccer team. The inaugural game was tonight, and as such this will be the last evening the space needle is lit in this way. Tomorrow it will return to the normal lighting.

Anyway, included in this set is an image of a house at night on Queen Anne, and one of a section of the IMAX theatre on the Seattle Center grounds. I realize it's a bit crooked, that'll be fixed in post-processing. It's up you to determine which images are images of the space needle, which one is the house, and which one is the IMAX theatre.

Hi all,

A lot of my images have been really dark lately. It is still winter, and the sun goes down fairly early, which makes it difficult to get out and shoot while there is still light in the sky. Here are a few more from tonight's mini-outing to the top of Queen Anne.

Hi all,

Last night I went to the Seattle Center to watch the Solstice Fire Festival, which had been rescheduled from the actual solstice to this last weekend, as it was snowing heavily when the festival was supposed to have originally gone on. Apparently one or more of the large fire spewing sculptures needed to be transported up frorm Oregon (unsubstantiated rumor....that they had to be transported, not whether or not there exists a state called "Oregon").

Anyway, it was fun to go photograph. :)
