Hello all,

  Here is the second set of Alaska pictures for your viewing pleasure.

First,  an abstract shot of snow on the side of a mountain




Morning sunrise on the second day I was there




Driving along the Turnagain Arm.  if you click on this next one you can see the road on the lower right hand side,  which gives a better sense of scale of the mountains.




I caught a gondola ride to the top of the mountains near the Alyeska ski resort,  and got the following shot of a snowboarder about to head down the mountain.







And then I came back home to Seattle.  :)

Hello all,

  by popular request,  here are additional images of Alaska

I'm still working on getting the perfect "walk in the woods" shot.  I'm not quite there yet,  but I'm fairly happy with this shot.







These next two images are of my friends' dogs,  who joined us on one of our hikes in the mountains.








And this last shot is of the Turnagain inlet.

I don't have much to say other than I wanted to put a post in from somewhere else besides Seattle,  which is usually where I post from.  :)

It's slightly snowy here,  and beautiful.  A little on the cold side.  Been hiking quite a bit,  and I'll post pics when I return to Seattle.
