Tell a Friend
This evening I was feeling somewhat antisocial,  so after dinner with a friend instead of watching a movie,  we went our separate ways.  I ended up at the DNA bridge that Amgen built.  it's a footbridge that crosses a series of railroad tracks.  I've photographed it before,  but it was during the day in direct sunlight,  and it was with my old camera.  This evening I shot the bridge again,  and am much happier with the results.  I'd still like to return when the daylight is dwindling instead of having a completely black sky,  but I'm still fairly pleased.  The first one is my favorite.

Each of these were shot at f/10,  with exposures typically around 20 to 30 seconds.  Most were shot at ISO 100,  a few at ISO 200 where there wasn't quite enough light to make a 30 second exposure.

Lastly,  on a personal note,  I'm extremely happy to have done a little bit of photography this evening.  I meet with a photography group once a month and we share what we've been doing,  and this month I had two photos to share that I had taken and edited.  It's quite difficult to edit photos with my eye not behaving,  and I've held off from doing both that and getting out and shooting.  So tonight was,  I think,  very good for me.
