Bio My name is Rafe, or at least it will be for the purposes of this journal. I was born in Kenosha, WI in 1973, attended college at a small private college called Dordt in northwest Iowa, worked in South Dakota for an even smaller private college there, and moved to Seattle in 1998. While I love Seattle, I graduated with a master's degree in June in Information Systems Management, and am currently seeking new employment.
My interests have lasted approximately 3 to 5 years, My most recent ones are long distance road bicycling, the musical traditions of the Malinke people of West Africa, and currently, photography.
I'm single, 33, and am thoughtful and reflective, or at least I hope to be. This journal is being maintained in part in order to continue an inner exploration of who I am and what I hope to accomplish in life. I, like so many other thoughtful, reflective single 33 year old males, work in IT.
